ARTIST'S STATEMENT"I work broadly within the landscape, however, I do not consider myself a landscape photographer in the traditional way. I am influenced by the `natural design` which is inherent in most landscapes. This includes the study of rock formation and the effects of water and tidal motion on the shoreline. I like to observe and record the fractal geometrical patterns created by natural energy such as water and wind which brings an order into apparent chaos."![]() BIOGRAPHYJohn studied photography at the Guildford School of Art in the late 60`s. He did not complete the course as an opportunity arose to join the photographic unit of a London design studio which was the start of his professional career. Since then he has travelled worldwide working as a corporate photographer. His main client over the years has been BP Chemicals. He has visited most of their manufacturing sites. In recent years he has produce the photographs for a number of calendars for various business divisions within BP.EXHIBITIONS
