ARTIST'S STATEMENT"I work broadly within the landscape, however, I do not consider myself a landscape photographer in the traditional way. I am influenced by the `natural design` which is inherent in most landscapes. This includes the study of rock formation and the effects of water and tidal motion on the shoreline. I like to observe and record the fractal geometrical patterns created by natural energy such as water and wind which brings an order into apparent chaos."BIOGRAPHYJohn studied photography at the Guildford School of Art in the late 60`s. He did not complete the course as an opportunity arose to join the photographic unit of a London design studio which was the start of his professional career. Since then he has travelled worldwide working as a corporate photographer. His main client over the years has been BP Chemicals. He has visited most of their manufacturing sites. In recent years he has produce the photographs for a number of calendars for various business divisions within BP.EXHIBITIONS
